Clare has successfully accumulated twenty plus years of postdoctoral experience working in senior management in the Built Environment and related industries within academia, private sector and professional organisation. During her career she has held a number of board roles and positions of responsibility across many industry sectors including charity trustee and director, Chair of General Practice Division of Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, school governor, and journal editor. Clare is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Board Member of the European Real Estate Society, and served as theme F project lead on the Infrastructure & Projects Authority Project X Research Board (Project X (bettergovprojects.com). Clare served on the UK Governments Research Excellence Framework (REF www.ref.ac.uk) assessment 2021 as an assessor on panel 13 for Architecture, Built Environment and Planning. Prior to her current Head of School role in TU Dublin, Clare was Director of Global Research & Policy with RICS and Head of Research for Jones Lang LaSalle Ireland, and Reader in Real Estate with the University of Liverpool.
